Not quite done yet, needs one more major texture, then details.

Im not really sure I am happy with these textures. I think it lost a little bit of its awesomeness (probably the rust).

Anyone want to retexture these guys?

I am going to be lightening up on the number of columns and adding some to the lower tier.

Question: I am already at 9200 triangles for the top LOD for the DN. should I call it good or do i have a bit of wiggle room still.

Okay, guess what.
Anyone who downloaded the model to texture it?
Yeah, unfortunately I am scrapping that version. There were a TON of mesh errors I didn't realize. - I scrapped the Higher-res version in favor of a newly built-up low res. I saved a huge amount of polies, too.
Unfortunately that means I have to remap the thing... Again.

EDIT:
I built a Virtual Studio this morning. works out great for rendering models to showcase. - comes with a two-point lighting system, two cyc's to choose from (which you can limitlessly swap out textures for). and my own lighting console system ^_^.
Render produced with said studio.

Need to do up one one of these days as well.. need something that I can drop in some ship reference shots to (like IM has going for the Andromeda Class thread)..
