Rain is continuing, I can see the storms north of downtown Austin. Ya'll would not believe some of the pics I've seen of the central Texas hill country, one car was teetering on a guardrail!

I'm kind of wondering about the electric rates in Austin for the time being, Mansfield Dam is running wide open to keep Lake Travis from overflowing (It's part of the Colorado river and was created by the Army Corps of Engineers decades ago, pretty cool, eh?), at that rate we should see dirt cheap electric bills.

In Westlake Hills along the river they are praying that the rains do not continue, God forbid the dam overflows and their multi-million dollar riverfront homes get flooded.  ;)

Ya'll batton down the hatches up north, and don't worry Cayne, you'll float by Austin before you hit Houston, and I also live in the hills, hehehehehehe.  :D

Wow, 45 days of rain and 18 percent of TX is underwater? Does that mean since we have 45 days of rain and more on the way that we got Noah and his crew beat now?  :D

Up here, we finally had a day w/ no rain. The forecast for the next five days 20% chance of a shower.

Next Thurs and Friday the chances goes up b/c of a cool front along the Red R.

Austin got major thunderstorms early yesterday evening, it was pretty cool watching the lightning strikes. Today is a mixture, sometimes sunny, sometimes very cloudy.

One thing is for certain, we will not have a water rationing period this year.  ;)
