« on: May 31, 2007, 10:18:35 pm »
Step 0.   Install OP

Step1.   Patch to 2552

Step 2  Install OP+ 4.01

Step 3.  Install the below (somebody please mirror this?)

I'm NOT updating the test server tonight as I'm too tired and have to go to bed.

I know that I am probably asking for trouble but is there an accompanying uninstaller for this installer?  I didn't see one added to the Start menu and I don't see one in the OP folder.  Is there anything that would need to be uninstalled after ATOK is over?

FYI in case others have the same issue...

had to copy files from C drive over into my game drive eventhough i set the installer to the correct path...

i have had this issue before with DH's installers so no problem for me...

think this goes for an uninstall too...and that until Bonk gets back...this is the way it is...

thank you DH and to all the others who have helped to bring about AOTK3...

looking forward to it!

All these installers generally do is install new ship and fighter lists and new missions (scripts)

So really all you have to do is copy a few files, not necessary to uninstall anything.

The point of an installer is that you won't have to do that.

Oh, and DH, the problem came up again with the installer.  I think it might be the installer creation program being used, but that's just me.

XP Home with SP2, and I have my drive partitioned in two and I don't have the game installed to the default location.  That's why I asked if the bug with the SGO7 installer would pop up again, where it would install the mod files to the default game location.

I zipped up the files that the installer created, and then unzipped them into my game folder.  I had to do the same with SGO7.
