...what the >=O

*Customizes, woo*

*Has fun with shiny ship for 5 seconds, until...*

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO[/b]OOOOOOOOOOOO!!!oneone11!!!

*sobs*

Okay, WAY back, I used Milkshape to add lightmaps to several surfaces that lacked them.  Now, I've heard that Milkshape can make models look a little funny sometimes.  But I never had any trouble with it.  Now I've placed the Osiris in SFC3 and several textures are...well...acting weird shall we say.  But none of these are the textures I edited or lightmapped in milkshape.

They also seem to be the same textures that I'm having trouble with on the Osiris' .nif version.  I open up the BC SDK and look at the model, and the same textures aren't just acting wierd, they're completely missing.  Are these symptoms of the same problem?  Any diagnosis on it?

Well, this is usually caused by two problems:

1)The texture isn't applied to the surfaces
2)texture name is misspelled

altho:

3)Milkshape is crap.

I don't know anything  :P, but when Models Please sent me his Oberth there was a patch of "fuzzy" texture that nothing explained.

I also think it was due to milkshake at the time...

can you attach a copy of the model to the post, or give the link to download it. Let's take a look at it before we blame Milkshape. It could be anything, at this point.

Heres the .mod file.

It's weird.  In EAW, OP, and the Model Viewer, everything is fine...It's only in BC/SFC3 that the textures are messed up.

Odd that they should be messed up in SFC3, since they work fine in SFC2 and OP.  Unless the model was ported from BC to SFC3, then that might explain it, but I doubt this is the case.

Well, I'll look at it and see if there's anything I can see. Thanks for the link.

Looked at it. It has some odd sized texture files (257 x 78 for example) that's probably causing problems. All textures should be multiples of 2 for sizes in SFC. (2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc...) You might try resizing them to the next nearest multiple of 2. Also, there's no hardpoints or damage points.
