Tobin they are sandbagging, always do. If you want to know what the player numbers are like, then go by the last player roster for SG7 to get an idea. I think the kitties are still outnumbered 5 to 1.

Edit: I just looked at Kruegs signup thread. I counted 5 players signed up. Do you actually think they are only gonna have 5 players besides Krueg and Risky? 

I'm slightly smarter than to go just by the threads here and have been checking the user group list for both sides at sfc2.net. Once SFHQ-XC is approved, it will be 35 to 23 for the kitties.

Like I said, you shouldnt go by the signups. Look at the player roster for the last server.

Numbers look pretty even for sgo7 with the difference being that the average coalition player was more dedicated than the average alliance player.

Yeah, look at the SGO7 roster...and see how many switched sides to follow their favorite race...
Sandbagging...? Hardly.
The reason most of our guys signed up didn't post in a sign-up thread (I had one?) was because they either applied via sfc2net or I added them manually after they responded to a PM.
At least I see not everyone went by what was posted in any thread, they at least at the sense to look at the forum roster. 
As far as who will put in lots of time to qualify as a nutter remains to be seen.
As does who will finish the campaign as opposed to who will play a few times and get bored or find other more pressing things to take care of.

The only way to judge a server balance is to be on it, and even then it can change hour to hour, day to day, or week to week.  The longer you spend on it the clearer a picture you get.  Usually at least a couple days are needed for an fairly good chance at an accurate picture.

Tobin, I understand you willingness to switch sides, but I wont remove you yet.  If at any time during the server you feel it is too unbalanced and want to switch I will have no issues with it, well, except for maybe during the first day

We Kzin have a slightly different approach, we wait a bit longer till the fur starts to smoke and a great feline bellow of pain issues forth, slowly count to ten trying to keep our heads clear despite the screams of pain that echoe through the bridge, then we SHOOT EVERYTHING...........and quickly replace the Lyran with a new one if he didn't survive and stick its tail in the socket for the next volley.

Got most of my domestic duties out of the way earlier this evening  , figure I'd pop on here and see how the last server ended... and found this one starting soon    will be great to actually start and be home for a full run... cross fingers... See you on the battle fronts... PS bring those rengades Warp and Hohh with you.
