I think Chutt would be the best choice for the Kitties, IMOHPO...
He will provide a great challenge in the way of strategy and tactics for the Coalition.

I did it last time and retured undefeated, I like that. 

I prefer to be the little voice roaring in the RM's ear, and I'll be an active supporter and aide for them without any title.  This seemed to work well on SGO7 


Consigliere is the only title I like these days.

Now Dizzy has already stated that he plans to fly Lyran for this, and I think he wouldn't be adverse to starting with a legendary crew.

He is online alot, has good voice coms clarity, is an excellent pilot, thinks somewhat strategically (Chuut will be advising him too), and can understand even his own rules.

I nominate Dizzy if the one who was tentative before decides not to do it.

Thats cool, but remember a Strategic Commander victory is the only feather you still don't have in your hat.  Until then you'll always be somewhat "lacking".

Comes to realize that the retirement checks are better than the thrill of the chase, at least as long as there is a 2 year old child willing to disrupt every command opportunity her father would take...

Will fill the slot (primarily in name and forum presense only) if nobody else would want the slot.  Since we have plenty of quality candidates (Dizzy), I'd rather one of them take the job instead of me having to do another butcher job where I'd barely make server most of the time...

Between Chuut and Julin, you don't need to be 100%.   You'll have plenty of Veterans who can fill the gaps in command.
