Recognition Awards for SGO7 for Round One.
« on: April 20, 2007, 02:42:09 am »
Chuut came up with this idea to honor your foes and I think it's great. So here are his ideas as he posted them to me along with my answers. What are yours?

1.  Most feared PvP adversary
RiskyLlama. One of the few players who can take me down in an even solo fight.

2.  Best sportsman
Chuut. Offered a tow to another player whom he beat. But then he mercilessly killed his ass and asked me to clean up the mess... Grrrr.
  and
DreadPirateGeek. Never afraid to bite off and swallow more than she can chew... she continues to offer herself in battle to those that want her and does so without regard to her ship or prestige. Truly interested in getting down and dirty, she is relentless and unwaivering and presses the attack till she can go on no longer. Kudos for offering her best fight in each and every match.

3.  Bravest stand against long odds
Dfly's BCPp along with Shadowlord's SUA engage Bearslayer's NCL+, Jem's CC+ and Veronica Fembot's CS+ in which Jem is destroyed and Bear and Veronica flee. Dfly and Shadow lord kept us on the defensive the whole battle. Really made us look like their bitches.

4.  Most impressive performance in a single mission
Risky-when he towed me into a rock.

5.  Most impressive performance overall
Malak. This self described PvP underachiever over-achieved big time in round one kills. He continues to show he is as worthy a wing as you can have.

6.  Most impressive improvement

Malak and Omega. Malak said he wasn't a very good PvP captain, but if you look at all the kills he was involved in round one without being killed I think he needs to reevaluate his ability. And Omega is shaping up fast. He's a quick learner coming from the SFC3 crowd and makes an excellent wing.

Alternate universe:  Khan was banished for preserving the peace. The Genesis device was really a super weapon and kirk had planned to use it on the klingons. Chekov found the Botany Bay and khan hijakced and killed the evil reliant crew in an effort to destroy the genesis device.    Ahh i love it :D The alternate universe rocks.

My suggestion was just to recognize adversaries not teammates as Dizzy did in order to build more respect across battlelines.  So I'll stick to that method for mine.

1.  Most feared PvP adversary
Tie, the F-14 and Dizzy, doubly bad in combo.

2.  Best sportsman
Tough one here, but I'll go with a tie between Malak and Soreyes for doing Wild Geese duty.

3.  Bravest stand against long odds
Wraith413, for defending an ISC planet and giving his ship for the cause despite impossible odds.

4.  Most impressive performance in a single mission
Deadman 6 for nearly taking me out despite me having a better first battle pass, he surprised me with some big plasma and nearly turned my confidence into spacedust.

5.  Most impressive performance overall
Die Hard for taking over the Alliance leadership under difficult conditions and managing to put together a fierce resistance where there was none before.

6.  Most impressive improvement
The Alliance in general, the turnout the first weekend was horrible for them but they have really bucked up and stepped to the plate since.
