a Warning for those who have or want to buy a rear projection TV, you will have problem and BIG Problem with it,

the lamp that is required will stop working under the year of use for some models, Thosiba, Sony and another brand from i think 2004 and 2005 have problem,  the speak of it on TV and when you pay 3000$ for a TV you want it to work a long time, not having to pay 300$ to replace it, its not something that you will appreciated.

you realize of course that a rear projection TV is just a glorified projector and this one of the drawbacks of using this method of large TVs, one that is usually weighed against several other variables such as picture quality, weight, lumonisty, contrast and price

yes but when you payd $3000 for a TV, you want it to work for a long time, not to be useless after a short time because of the lamp.

i still use a good old technology call tube  :D, THAT is always working and cost a lot less and still giving a great pictures, not sure if its HD compatible and not that i care since i don't use the HD, since there not much on HD but special stuff like sports or documentary.
