Its kinda mine too (for an SFB Rom)...I dislike its orthographics, but love her perspectives...so its a 50/50 kind of thing

I never really liked the SFB ships beyond the TOS Fed and Gorn designs. All too-simplistic shapes. I much prefer the SFC versions of the Romulan and Klingon New Series, Hydran, Lyran, and Mirak ships.

That said, this is a beautiful model. The double neck design variation gives it a greater legitimacy and basic look for the "real" STU. I just don't think I'll ever like that huge ball head, though.

mm... I like both versions, but for the purposes of representing the SFU, I think the first one is better. I'm not really a fan of double-neckers, but your second design looks so good that this detail is trivial compared to the rest of the model.
