Reflecting photon torpedoes? Sure. You go right ahead and try to reflect a matter/anti-matter warhead with the charges held apart until impact or remote detonation by magno-photon forcefields.

My ship was stuck at 28, even though it was using enough power to go 31.  ::)

might be your weapons required warp energy to hold?

Have noticed the same thing with my shipd before.  Don't really know what it was but that was my conclusion.

probably  ;D

Some of the smaller and earlier Fed Ships seem incapable of reaching 31, I've had a ship at green alert with enough energy to reach 31 top off at around 29.

Obviously....the engieers had it partially right...polished glass reflects photons....but not photon TORPEDOES...

We call that a faulty leap of logic... :P

We did see you do better than 28 in the start.  We discussed it and we were sure you had it up to speed 30 for our first 2 volleys.  I beleive that when I broke your shields and did 18 internals, and then the second volley did another 15, we hit a couple engines and that slowed you to 28.  There is when I was able to hit you from the rear with ESGs and hurt your engines enough for me to tow you back to LK so we could finish you. You were close to the line and if it were not for engine hits, you might have made it.

You see, there's you're problem.  Have you ever known anything on a Klingon ship to be clean? :soap:

After an hour long match Felicity Shagwell's F-DVL was forced off the map by an excellent entrapment cornering move by Soth's R-SUA and Duck's R-SHR and ultimately forced the disengagement of FrogHard's I-CAY. Unfortunately for the Coalition, Soth was crippled by a last second volley from the DVL before it warped off the map and Soth's R-SUA attempted to limp off ever so close to the border but the killing blow came by several few remaining F-14's with phasers and drones. 1 Alliance Point in 2273.xxx.

While it is technically a strategic victory for the Coalition, they lost a ship by accomplishing it.

Guys, AWESOME game... I needed that. I had way too much damage to stick around and get hit by that last plasma volley and didnt have the angle to take it on a good shield... I just can't believe that you guys stuck around as long as you did... You 2 made a hell of a game out it when most others would have quit.

Good 1v1 slugfest TheJudge's I-CV gets Killed by Soth's D5D

1pts              Coalition       I  rechecked the list the I-CV is listed as a fleet carrier ,may be symantics but the strike carrier has PPDs instead of plasma S.
It is 163 bpv ,,Strike Carrier 173.........D5D 112 ;D I should get 3 for that,I will leave it to the powers that be to give final say.Still believe that you are correct .

An I-CV is a Strike carrier.  Are they worth 3 points?   I'm sincerly asking because I re-read the rules and I'm cofused as heck :)

I-CV is not a Battlecruiser, so I would assume it only is 1 point.  The I-BCV comes out in about 6-7 more years yet.

ISC Carrier Setup:

There's 2 lines, the I-CV(Z) / I-CVS(Z) - Fleet and Fleet Strike carrier.  They are the CA-hulled carriers.
I-CVA(Z) is the DN-hulled carrier, PPD-only variant, no plasma's available.

It is a CA hull with a 1 move cost and we dont use bpv for any kind of hull or move cost determination and if you did his bpv would have been much high because of his ftrs but yours would have been much higher because of you Med. spd. drones. Here is a snippet of the rule:

  • N/CA, N/CL, HDW's are worth 1.  (.67 and 1 move cost)
