I have just recently gotten back into the whole SFC games... I tried to start my SFC2 and it went through the into (which i think is one of the best intos into any game) when it stopped and failed to launch the game... I think i rememebr that you have to change the target at whish the desktop icon looks at for it to work correctly but I have forgotten how or what it is to target...

I am a Mod at another on-line game and hope to bring some of those players over to this game as an alternative... mostl likly sfc2:op but meh.. who knows...

Any help on this matter would be greatly appresiated...

you got 2 icons in the sfc folder, one is Starfleet command 2 and scf2, one of them will show the paramouth intro the other wont, so just click in your folder the 2 icon and see witch one will make your game work, also you should get the patch for it, somewhere on this forum you will find the link for it.

It has alot of good links... unforturnatly some of them are missing but it still has all the links for patches plus alot of add-ons...

Thanks for the advice... I will give it a try... I do like that intro though lol

The patches are for the .exe that doesn't have the intro. So, unfortunately you have to point your shortcut to that one.
The directory server for online campaigns has changed since the last official patch.
