Hmmmmm, I thought from the title they meant the "other" kind of beaver.  ;D 200 years without spotting a beaver is way too long.

The Departed with Jack Nicholson and Leonardo DeCappucino and MATT DAMON! (Team America) was good.

Babel was also good but it was drawn out. It's the story of four different cultures being affected and tied together by an assault style hunting rifle. P.S. Watch out for the real hairy monster!

Everyones been telling me I should see the Departed. I think I'll rent it next week, and IF I like it, I'll be sure to buy it.

Of course, today being the 62nd anniversary of 3rd Battalion raising the flag on Iwo Jima, I want to watch Flags of our Fathers. Man have we took your thread in a completly new direction.

Oh yes, I friend of mine had a copy of Highlander 5 : The source. Do yourself a favor , and Ignore it Completly. my wife and I watched the screener of it, and just shook our heads in dis-belief.

Anyways, Cheers Evil Eye.

Canada lynx seen in Vermont

Quote
MONTPELIER, Vt. (AP) - Officials have confirmed the presence of a Canada lynx in Vermont for the first time in nearly 40 years. Wildlife biologists from Vermont and New Hampshire identified a set of lynx tracks in a state wildlife management area in Victory on Feb. 7. The Canada lynx is native to Vermont, but the population has always been small.

The last time a lynx was spotted in Vermont was in 1968.

"It is great to see this once-native species again in Vermont," said Paul Hamelin, a state wildlife biologist in St. Johnsbury. "There have been a few unconfirmed reports of lynx in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom in recent years, and we know they occur in Canada as well as in New Hampshire and Maine, so it wasn't a big surprise to find the tracks of this animal."

Three things that I suspect, one, hunters are becoming a rare breed, land leases for deer hunting and other animals is becoming a lifestyle for the rich, hunter licenses have seen a big drop in the last ten years.

Two, we are rapidly shoving our suburbias down Mother nature's throat?

Three, gobal warming is taking effect?

Just some thoughts.
