On my HD only.. that's my own personal flagship.  :)

Not for releasing.. it was one of my first major texture rebuilds, and I taught myself techniques using it.  So some of the textures are a bit messy.  Also, it's Babylon 5 themed.. with the backstory on it being that this was a ship crewed by Rangers, who got the ship after their own ship was lost in hyperspace and following a sensor ghost, they managed to jump into normal space in the Trek universe.  Their ship was destroyed shortly after defending a Starfleet science vessel, and a sympathetic Starfleet allowed them to replace their ship with an older ship out of mothballs and use it for their own.  It's a testbed for Ranger tech and a training facility... and the first instance of Federation technology being adapted wth Minbari weapons and jump gate technology.  Once I redo the textures, I'll do a render to show that.  :)

That's the backstory anyways..

Great to see the Smegheads making it into SFC! Though admittedly the Dwarf looks too squished to me. I seem to remember her being longer...

I like your backstory for your B5 Constitution, but shouldn't she be a TOS ship, since B5 was set in 2258-2263, or something? or is she From after "Sleeping in the Light", which was 20 years on? ;D

Ahhh.  So this is the ship that you want to update here and there with some of the pieces from the I.S.S. Anubis bash.  I like your ship.  If ever you can, I'd love to see some nice renders of her.

Glad that you caught that.. :D

Babylon 5 in the series runs from 2258-2262, with SitL taking place in 2281.  In the Star Trek timeline, that puts it after the end of the second five year mission with Kirk after ST:TMP and just before ST:TWOK.  During this time, the Enterprise is under command of Spock and is being used as a training vessel.  Most, if not all, of the old TOS Connies have been refitted to the new TMP standard, but not all have been reactivated.  And it was one of these ships that was donated to the Rangers... as a few newer TMP refit Connies were coming off the line, and it was a way for Starfleet to retire an older ship.

There were two versions of Red Dwarf btw..

This is version 1, that I based mine on..

And this is version 2, the version primarily in Season 8.

I'm much more a fan of the early season ship.. it's so completely unmajestic that it's just awesome.

Heheheh.. it's supposed to look a lot like it actually.. because that's what I'd based it off.  It's all ready for everything except SFC 3 at this point... just doing up the final TI, VL, and BS files tonight, and think I'll do up an additional set of textures for it to make it look like the remastered Doomsday machine as well.  And I should playtest it first.. want to make sure the maw effect looks right and shows up in the right place...which means digging out my discs to get a MDM mission running.

Also have Terradyhne's Roms done for SFC 1, 2, and 3..

Tell you what.. if you can hang on until tonight and have SFC with a Doomsday mission in it, I'll send it over for you to playtest.. looking to see how/where the Maw effect is in the mesh.. I wanted to get it back into the throat a little bit.  It'll save me digging out my discs.  Otherwise, I'll have to shanghai KF, as I know that he has Tracey's Doomsday script installed.. ;)

And there's a fairly lengthy maw back in there, plus dead Doomsday textures done up as well (and glow effects for cooling neutronium).  :D

Just finished off the v1 Blue Midget (the one seen in the first two seasons).. wanted to try something lower poly, think it's sitting at 885 polies with truckers stacks, side mufflers and rear rockets (I put two up there as the only reference picture I had was from the side and it could've been either or.  If I go with one rocket up top (the other option), it'll pull down the poly count a bit more..

Haven't play tested it yet in game.. once I do (tonight?), I'll post some shots..

And am still planning to do up the v2 Blue Midget as well.. but I think Starbug will work as is for v1 or v2..
