Ok, PMs and emails sent and replied to.
Thanks for all the (surprisingly) rapid responses to those invloved.
Coalition Forces (assuming "Historical" alliances) are Ready.
ARMs are pending.
Where's the Test sever?
Links for rules page? *note to self, buy new Black cartridge for printing multi-page rules.*
Webmap for this one?
CnC will be handled How? ie: Cap ship builds, Ship class points limits?
Change name on SS3 forums on sfc.net or make new ones?
Fighter list to be used...?
When do we start?
 ;D

Hey Krueg (since you seem the most organized here ;) ) , PM me once you have the RM's you want and whatever the name of the campaign is going to be, and I'll have the forums ready in no more then 24 hours.

All I am waiting on is who is going to be the mods for both sides, and what the campaign is going to be called and I can make the changes in like 5 minutes, but I can't do anything without the info.....

Thank-You

I think Dizzy meant we (by which *I* mean You..) are supposed to set up the alliances etc ourselves.
Or basically figure out who's flying for what side, how foten they might fly, then set up the alliances so the sides are balanced.

He is gettin kinda lazy...

Well, you can leave me as moderator of the SS3 (Coalition) forums and simply change the name to SGO 7.
I can add ARMs to the Coalition High Command forums as needed, I've already cleaned those forums out from the last campaign, and there's only 3 members of the SS3 forums, you can even leave those in and if they wish to change they can let me know.
Oh, I guess you could also change the High Command forums to reflect SGO 7 instead of SGO 6.  ;D

I have been MIA since 2006Q3.0 due to some pressing RL issues, but they are taken cared off now.

If I remember correctly, last fall,  we were all talking about warp-out missions.  If we can get some testers in March, I can look at getting these warp-out missions working A-OK in a new mission pack.  Pretty much what would be ideal is a test server running EEK missions and a few dedicated testers like Bonk and DRB were. We were knocking bugs really quickly cuz we all got co-ordinated on RW with myself and the testers running missions, fixing the bug on the fly, and testing it again right away. After a defect fix, once a mission worked correctly 3 consecutive times, it was certified dyna-ready.

Then we can get a server going with the new pack.

BTW, has Dizzy been causing any trouble lately?  ;D

So here's the help I need:

YOU GUYS come up with RM's and ARM's.

Get a private forum for the two sides going like we did for the last server.

Get your players ready.

Decide on a mission pack. Do we go with an untested pack with Daves new warp missions or the old school. BIG decision there. (I've waited a long time for this community to hammer out these new missions. Are they dyna prime time ready?)

DH and I will get everything else done... if I can pry his fingers away from M2TW.

The Coalition is well on the way to being ready.
Who will lead the Alliance? Be forum moderator?
Don't be shy, someone step up and take Command.  ;)

Well, sure, you'll get all the usual leader perks...
You'll get to do most of the planning, get to explain to your own players a hundred times what you're trying to accomplish as a team every night, get to type dozens of posts that only a few will read, try to keep track of who's flying what Capitol and specialty ships to make sure your side is within limits set, and if you're real lucky, you can even actually fly some missions and have some good fights... :P
Jeeze, how much more could you ask for...?

I did like the "L" ships on SGO6, but, in later eras, they were outclassed. But, it did make the ship much more effective, no matter what it was.
And since it didn't count vs any CnC, it made a great wing for the Capitol ships and Carriers.
It was fun, and I would have no objections to seeing the Supreme Commanders getting them again, with the same restrictions on hull classes.

Ya know...there's a perfectly good RM forum, now devoid of members, on sfc2.net as well.
Maybe we could use it for all SGO 7 RM communication, rules "discussions" etc?
I've had a "Pending" request for access there for a while...maybe the email glitch that seems to re-occur.
Jeff? Possible?

???

Of course no one listens to you.
Hard to take a man dressed in leather humming ABBA ditties over VT seriously.
That being said, you also should learn to simplify..

Hexx's commands for SGO7 would be
1) Have more VP hexes than bad guys at end of every day.
2) Have more VP kills at end of every day.
Easy.Breezy.Beautiful.where was I going with this?

Oh yes, assuming this thing kicks off in MArch/April I can lead the Alliance.
I'll trade you the Lyrans for the Kzin btw.... wait is Kroma playing? Can I trade my plasma race away?

Why not just use the SGO6 Rm forum here... who has access?
I think I still do so I can be annoying.

Either way. I was thinking the empty one on sfc2.net would be easy since it doesn't alreay have pages of posts and no membership modifications would be needed.
But, if someone is willing clean the SGO6 forums up, they'll do just fine.

Well, I know I'll never do a dyna again, even if I wanted to. No big thing.
But the "incident" drove away a fleet of... I dunno, 8-10 dedicated players, that is a sizable chunk of the player base.
Too bad it had to come to that, over ego.

I think Likker is talking about SSCF, when some of their members quit playing the game partly due to some disagreements concerning a server (Feds and klinks vs everyone else IIRC).

And there may have been some issues in regard to a server from the GW series, concerning LDR , but I may be mistaken. (Welcome to correct me if I am talking about the wrong server/servers, it was some time ago.)

If I remember correctly it got pretty heated around that time and some players left the game and never came back, we did see a player drop after those events.
