Well, sure, you'll get all the usual leader perks...
You'll get to do most of the planning, get to explain to your own players a hundred times what you're trying to accomplish as a team every night, get to type dozens of posts that only a few will read, try to keep track of who's flying what Capitol and specialty ships to make sure your side is within limits set, and if you're real lucky, you can even actually fly some missions and have some good fights...
Jeeze, how much more could you ask for...?
I did like the "L" ships on SGO6, but, in later eras, they were outclassed. But, it did make the ship much more effective, no matter what it was.
And since it didn't count vs any CnC, it made a great wing for the Capitol ships and Carriers.
It was fun, and I would have no objections to seeing the Supreme Commanders getting them again, with the same restrictions on hull classes.
