Anyone have a way to import .COB files or tell me where I can find a free program that can import them and export them to something I can use

Check yor mail, I ran into a big snag (details in the message) you got about HALF the files I rared up for you! I broke them down into different posts to get under the 10mb limit etc... At least you got the Core VT's now.

3D Exploration will do it, but he'll be asked to register as it's not free software, and only have 30 days if it's not registered.  Right Hemisphere made it, but they changed the name to something else after a bit.
..ooOOoo..totally useless information..ooOOoo..

Don't bother checking out my website for the most recent updates, because I've
been too lazy to update it!  Check Battleclinic!

There were various free versions with different features (most with nagware).
When they changed the program to Deep Exploration they stopped making 3DX available for free.

After years of searching this was posted on a HW2 site Version 1.831
It has no nagware, maintains the merge file capability and came with 2 new plugins (that I have not tested yet) Maya4 and 3dsMAX, it also has a quick reg exe icon. In 1 minute your up and running.

IMHO the BEST (or just easiest) conversion program since Milkshake... For the hobbyist that is.
Just some of the standard formats: .cob/.obj/.peo/.dfx/.wrl/.3ds/.lwo/ and most others...

Some NOT in there are like C4D, Rhino...

Please SCAN this before you open!!! Not sure if it's 100% safe my TS3.2 got corrupted and unfortunately I got 3 things at once and my McAfee didn't detect anything but when I tried to send to Models Please, Hotmail said I had a virus so be warned!

Hope people find this useful! I'm very happy I found this version (I had been using 1.5.5 for YEARS)

Lithunwrap does .cob (and ms3d) too, and is freeware.
