You know from the rear it almost strikes me as Klingonish...

Hehe, from the thread title I thought maybe this would be about SAAB.  ;D

Yeah, me too...

... though this ship does, I guess via taking attributes from the name, share some form elements with the SAAB fighter.

Oh god! I hope that it wasn't your OP models directory. Any lost folder would suck, but I know in my case that'd be catastrophic. I don't even want to imagine it. :o

I think i figured out what happened.  My unistall was designed so that it would remove all the files in the folder that it installed to.  I was stupid in that i assumed and i screwed up.   Sorry mate, i'll fix it asap (meaning i'll probably remove the unistall).  I have an idear how to fix it, i'll try to have it uploaded by tommorrow (ie let you select the directory, but it still creates its own folder).  Again i'm sorry, i'll make sure that this doesn' t happen again.  (boy now don't i feel like an ass....)

edit:  ok the problem is fixed and uploaded a new file, i went in and specified which files to removed.  In short it can't physically removed anything else besides what i told it to remove.  I can't believe i was this stupid

happily i can say that is one thing it WON'T do.  It can't delete directories (ei folders), only remove empty ones thankfully. (which is sadly what the last version did quite well.. make empty folders)

unLucky for me I installed it into a an area were I do do texture work and usually view models, It makes it easier to modify things that way. So i lost a few textures I was working on, not the end of the world as they can be redone, but it does delay things I was doing. Most of the stuff is backed up so I can restore it all when I stop being lazy and need it.

At least you got it fixed quickly, that is good news.

This is quite an intriguing design, and I think I like it for the very weirdness that stops me from saying flat out that I do like it!  :D

I can see how Star Dragon thinks it Klingon-ish from the rear as the "saucer" (or would that be 'head' instead?) looks like it was inspired by Vor'cha elements. I don't know of the SAAB Hammerhead fighter, but I automatically assumed he was referring to the hammerhead shark.

I agree that the textures are a little weird but I didn't realise that they were scanned, hand-drawn designs. That is seriously awesome. As for making new textures... I think this would really good in a Sovereign-era colour scheme.

She looks really good in the first pic, from above the bow quarter. Keep these coming, they are really cool ships!

Looks great, as always Atolm.
