Help! I've Lost My OP Mojo.
« on: March 01, 2007, 09:39:40 pm »
I don't know if it's my meds, or the jitters, or what, but I have lost my OP mojo.  I used to be able to take down a F-CA with a SNB+.  Now I can't even handle light cruisers with a BCH1.  I get blasted every time.  Are there any tips on getting back in the phaser-firing, hellbore blasting groove?

Remember the basics.  Rotate your shields so that the AI is not hitting the same one all the time, and make attack runs instead of close-in knife fights which usually benefit the AI.  (somehow the AI always seem to rearm weapons quicker)

Its very easy to discount the effectiveness of most AI but if you follow your normal check list of how to fight different opponents and their weapon arrays you will find that you don't get surprised as often by the sometimes nasty AI.

SNB+ eh?  I can do it in 14 minutes with a WB+ at speed 7.

D2 loadouts :)
I was never here, you were never here, this conversation never took place, and you most certainly did not see me.

Get off the meds Sarah, there is very sound reasoning in the insanity of it all.  ;)

1) Fly Lyran
2) Ram everything in sight.

I like to think I'm a little more elegant than that.

I tried that philosophy in reality, and the women sometimes did not appreciate it.  ;)

Is there anything elegant about ramming things in sight?
