I have really been putting alot of time into making planetary environments for SFCIII. I have changed backgrounds to look like atmospheric flight, and have changed some planets to look like mountains. I still have a ways to go to make it really playable, but here are some Screenshots from play testing/

Maybe you could explain Starbases as Sky Cities (like Bespin from Empire Strikes Back)...

That sounds good. The only issue I have is that you don't blow up when you colide with clouds. However, we might be able to change the asteroid designation in the loadouts. Or, make it a thunder head cloud. I don't know yet, thanks for the input.

I have done further experiments with placing flying machines in SFC and changing the environment. Now if I could only get into that Q3 file.
