I know back home and here in colorado Fox is carring it, don't know if its the remastered, but its on at 4pm local this saturday as far as i can tell.

KTXA, is channel 21 for me, is  not showing it. I found out that channel 52 here in Dallas is showing Star Trek on Sunday nights at 9pm and again at 10pm.

A nice double dose of it.

You guys notice in the beginning the little asteroid chunks bouncing off the Constellation's Hull?   wowsers!!!

The only thing I didn't like was the little wobble they put into the Constellation when she was moving into the planet killer.

Why would she wobble?  She's under impuse power so the damage to the warp nacelles shouldn't affect that at all.  Plus there's no drag in space.

Not to mention inertial damping was barely online. Didn't you see what happened when they first started moving? Kirk and Scotty got thrown all over the place, so there's more reason for your wobble. Acceleration was NOT being properly compensated for or applied evenly.

If there's a visible wobble at a range of 20km (which is what it looked like to me), something had to be acting on the ship from the outside, not just engine imbalances.

I had seen the spinrad clip.  The point of the digital remastering isn't to totally re-envision the fx, but clean it up and bring it to contemporary standards.  They don't want to drastically alter a classic. Spinrad still wanted his original concept put in, but it's a classic dude!
