Yup, forget the name though... doesn't seem to be under "Constitution" in Battleclinic either...

Actually, at this point, I only have one. I never saw any reason for that weird version, though it makes more sense than the one they had with the engines pointing backwards...

Haha, you USED to have several versions - I recall (I think) you having made several versions of a TNG Constitution with slightly different nacelles etc each time...

Well, nowadays, I look at that model primarily as a kitbash of a simple model, not really as a model of a starship variant.  Sure, a lot of models we've seen lying around in Trek shows and film are of actual ships, but why not the possibility of just someone messin' around?  'Cause I don't see the reason of tilting the nacelles outward 90° and covering the saucer windows... Maybe just an alien engineer thinkin' the refitted Constitution-class was ugly in his/her/its view or something. *shrug*

But that's getting geeky with an in-universe explanation.

Looks similar to the "Invincible" in Generations At War...

This shot doesn't show it, but the nacelles are turned 90 degrees so the glowies are up.  :)

So the mesh is out there, (I know, I did it).. but I'm not sure at this point if I still have the high def texture pack rather than the 256x256x256 color texture that shipped with G@W to cut down on file size.

If not, it wouldn't take too much trouble for me to redoi them.. I save all my blanks.  ;)
..ooOOoo..totally useless information..ooOOoo..

I have my own explanation for that twisted-nacelle Constitution, and yo can red the full version here

http://www.starbase23.net/Databanks-ClassDevConstellation.html

For those who can't be arsed, however, I have her as an engineering testbed for the Constellation class. The nacelles' new orientation is to prototype the Constellation before NX-1974 is actually built, and the large black areas on the edges of the saucer are special engineering sensor pallets to record the warp field data.

Ya know, ya can't really see the rear of the nacelles in that pic with Giordi, wouldn't take much imagination to swap out the connnie nacelle to Constellation ones in an orientation like that and use that ship as a testbed for the Constellation.
