atra's battleship yamato

i play with atra's yamato and consider it more like a battlecruiser due to is lack of firepower and shield, i use disruptors H and Y instead of his phaser 1 and Y, and the drones give a bit more power but its too week to attack a battlestation due to the fact that its got not shiel and you got damages before you can fire at it and the phaser Y don't seem to fire when its time and phaser 1 are not good alone, also i use a fca ssd because in the game there 5 point in ligne for the weapons and the bc ssd don't and the weapons are not well place, i did try phaser A and B but there good for close combat, disrupter can fire for a long range, also the hp on the ship should be fix so each cannon fire from the right place.

Don, Does the "4" not work on your keyboard? There's no phaser or disruptor "Y". ;D

The 50pts of armor 50 (or armour), and all the hull 20Front+20Center+20aft batts 100, bridge 15, should allow her to take damage pretty well. You don't get reinforcement and shield regeneration. There's definately a time limit on how long she can fight. I'd never arm a ship in SFC like he's got it, but I'm assuming he's not looking at it as a Trek ship.

Tactically, I'd imagine that the best tactic would be to fly in at max speed (get in as quickly as you can) behind a wall of drones to act as damage absorbers (every phaser fired at your drones is 1 that's not targeted on your ship). Or to even force a weasel from your enemy if it's the AI. Get into a close range knife fight. Take advantage of how fast your weapons rearm. Especially those Hi-power phaser 4s and the mauler.

You need to have the combination of the phaser 1s and the phaser 4s to get the phaser capacitor to charge correctly. I'm guessing that you aren't putting the phaser 1s on and that's why the phaser 4s aren't firing correctly.

That's a good start Rod, except you placed 3 "HEAVY" HP's where phaser HP's should be

That's Atra's layout from the model's folder. I posted it as reference to Don's post so it'd be easier to understand how he apparently had it spec'd out.

the problem is with atra's weapons spec is i must use the fed bc ssd for the weapons hard point, but the ssd heavy weapons 7 and 9 are beside each other but the mod weapons are not and the dont fire in the same direction.
