Nonsense.  This week's episode was good and I don't think Jack killed anyone.  24 is like sex, part of the fun is the buildup to Jack's orgasms of violence.

My favorite Jack Bauer Body Count is probably the conclusion of Season 1 when Jack goes after Drazen when Nina tells him Kim is dead. Pure rage.

I still like the scene where Chloe was under attack in the field and managed to get out of the vehicle with the M-16 just in time to blow the bad guy away...never underestimate that b*tch

I have to agree Ted ;D

In the UK we are up to episode 7, i have always been a fan of 24, the fast paced action and many "twists and turns" have kept me glued to each series ;D

The poor little hobbit!  I almost shed a tear for him...of course why the included the scene with the security guard is beyond me...I mean we all know the guy's got family and making it more real was just a waste of time...they could have used those 45 seconds to show him foaming at the mouth and blood coming out of his nose some more!  Or given the hobbit more time to jerk as he died and drool/liquified lung cells leaked out of his mouth...

Or we could have watched Tony flop around a bit more as he croaked away...

I think the security guard scenes were there to give people the dramatic emotional effect of Gill's mistake.  What I liked was Jack choking out that guy that was with Kim and everyone else in the room went about their business like nothing was out of the norm.  Talk about comedy value there.   ;D

Well myself last night I was thinking if the filtration system is running after lynn resets the computers then why is the security guard much less Lynn now dieing.

Lynn touched the rails of the staircase as he climbed them if the Nerve agent had settled there then his skin should have abosrbed the agent and dropped him on the staircase.

On the other hand the vapors are airborne and he is holding his breath....well excuse me but his eyes were exposed and he should have dropped to the ground before he ever made it back.

Now on the other hand if the nerve agent is so weak at this point that it cannot be absorbed by the old eye ball, then when he returned to the room with the Security Guard. The over pressure of the flitration system should have kept the agent mostly out of the room. With a positive air pressure that room Lynn and the Agent were in should have still been relatively safe. Its not like they kept the door open fanning the nerve agent into the room in the first place.

Lame plot device as far as I was concerned.

Well Sten, it was stated earlier in the episode that this specific nerve agent had to be inhaled to be effective (or Jack would have brought it back into the room with him, killing everyone).  The air filtration system activated, and did you notice the delayed reaction of the security guard and the hobbit?  At first they thought they were going to be okay, but then...bam! there was enough to kill them.

It took time, I guess, for the filtration system to filter out enough of the gas to make it safe...Chloe at one point said they'd reached the level where it was no longer affecting the seals, but that it was still too high to be safe...and that was when the two of them couldn't hold their breath anymore....

Well having had the opportunity to watch to old movies from NBC school.

I watched alot of animals die from nerve agent poisoning.

A drop the size of a ballpoint pen is enough to kill you.

My gripe was when Lynn walked up the staircase he touched the bannister while climbing the stairs. That should have been enough on his hand to drop him.

Secondly if Jack covered himself with his pull over sweater. See he was smart enough to cover his head to protect himself from the agent making contact with him. Yet when he reentered the room all he did was move the sweaters hood from his noggin. If anything he should have taken off the sweater and his out clothing just to play it safe. I know I know its TV.

So my point positive over pressure, that being the fresh clean air blowing into the room from the Air conditioning should have kept the agent from the room. When they opened the door they should have felt the air flowing out of the room, preventing the agent from blowing in.

Yes he is.  I kept wondering the same thing while I was watching but figured I must be imagining things.  But TV Guide says it's Alexander Siddig.
