I have been a registered MS Partner for some time (I have not used it much at all though). I have been to a couple of their seminars in the past that they give for people in the IT field and I have kept up the partner registration over the last few years. anyway, I was thinking about buying a Microsoft Action Pack Subscription (MAPS). It has a ton of stuff that comes with it. Uh, lets try this.

and it comes with Quarterly Updates so whenever they release a new version they will send it to me free of charge at the next quarterly update. so, for example, when they release Vista and the Office 2007 system I will get those as well. And the good news is that it only costs $300 for one year and the software does not expire when the subscription is done. The only thing that they say is that I can't use this software to actually make money. i can't use the server OS as a web based store for example. It is for internal use only. since I have no plans to use it any other way except for private use (cool new software to use and learn what it does) i would not be violating their policy. So, what say you? should I get it?
