I like it. I like the cross section of the secondary hull, especially. THAT is what a battlecruiser ought to look like, methinks.

Warship, right?  Doesn't look like it was intended for research or exploration... or those newfangled asteroids they have these days need lotsa photon torpedoes to move out of the way!  ;D

I am looking at this again; I find the concept still a great design, but I have doubts about the Nacelles. Maybe another pair might do better. ie: the TMP set of nacelles with the very long grill

While I like it (as is), I sense variants in the works...

That thing has DUAL torpedo mounts and yet is relagated as a PT/Toop Cruiser?  Isn't that a little over-armed?

I really love the Engineering hull though! (Permission for a future kitbash?) :D

Does that thing have an impulse engine underneath the 2nd hull?

And are those rear torp tubes as well?

Better close up shots!!!

If it has not been changed then yes they are Photon tubes down there. The Impulse Engine is on the top of the suacer like in the Consititution II class
People always said they wanted the government to listen to them and now the government is listening, taking notes and names...and coming to see you soon!

Remember the axiom of big government bureaucrats: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. When, finally, under the crushing weight of taxes and regulation, it stops moving, subsidize it.

No can do, I built it for the designer and as you can see in my first post it calls for these nacelles.

As of now yes it has a secondary impulse crystal at the bottom of the secondary hull (not sure why), that will be modified to another set of forward torp tubes as per the schematic.

Yes they are.

Yes and no...here's the history............

The States-class succeeded the Kolm-an as the Federation's heavy assault cruiser design.
This large assault cruiser is equipped with a strong armament of eight phasers and six photon torpedoes.
Despite its firepower, the States Assault Cruiser is rarely committed to battle due to its expense and rarity.
Rather, the intended use of its photon torpedoes arsenal is in planetary bombardment operations.
The States Assault Cruisers were never built in great numbers, but remained important assault units throughout the early 24th Century.
During the Dominion War, the efforts of the States Assault Cruisers were overshadowed by those of the far more numerous Excelsior Class Cruisers.

The States class is using a Starstalker Secondary hull so can we assume that after you make the States Class you will move forward to making a higher poly version of the StarStalker that is closer to the Starfleet Prototype version ?

Ah thanks Chrystoff  :) .Should be easy enough, start with my modified churchill secondary hull, swap out nacelles and add mega phasers and 2 landing ramps.
