Argus Array 14
Houston...we have a problem

The final Argus Array of the year 2006 is a packed on in 2 parts. Unfortunately Mr Derek Chester wasnt able to make this final recording this year due to work commitments which cropped up at the last minute. However we do have the ambassador of the Romulan Star Empire with us for Part 1...Star*Dagger and we have the communities other well known southern accent and all round god of moderating in the Bethesda boards...RMoore.

Part 1

The team discuss the impact which the late D2D (Direct 2 Drive) offering will have on the PC Game stores in the UK, Europe and Australia. WildCard also discusses the logistics that he is going to have to go through since people have cancelled orders off him and if WildCard is going through a nightmare imagine what its like for large stores cancelling hundreds of preorders...it might be why the local store to me has stated in no uncertain terms that their head office has said that they will flat out refuse to stock any more Star Trek games.

The conversation then for some reason wanders off into the control's and manual for Star Trek: Legacy. We then move on to the one crucial part that was missing on release of Legacy for the PC...multiplay, was this game tested before it was shipped? The rest of us dont think it was.

Part 2

For Part 2 we are joined by none other than the moderating god of the official Bethesda Star Trek forums...your benevolent dictator and all round god of moderating...Mr RMoore (SIR!).

We start by asking RMoore as a moderator in the board if people like Legacy, he manages to dodge the obviously loaded question (he should work in PR) and we move on to discuss the aspects of Legacy which have been cut. RMoore also mentions that he has managed to get the game to run on a fairly old system and goes into the basics of playing the game in single player and multiplay...then WildCard starts a rant on multiplay.

We kick off by cheking out some of the hot topics of the day in the forum and asking the questions to the people in the podcast. We start off by asking the question of the impact Legacy will have on Bethesda's future in the franchise and comparing the first release of this publisher with the first release of the last 4 publishers in the franchise.

A big thanks to Kinneas for editing Episode 14 since i have been in hospital during the weekend.
