Perpetual Entertainment in financial trouble

Recently Perpetual Entertainment has been forced to lay off more than THIRTY of its employess for their first MMO title "Gods and Heroes".

The lay off's have also meant that some members of the team working on Star Trek: Online have also been layed off.

One would get the impression that they're ready to go out of business from your post here. After reading the actual story you've linked to, this doesn't seem to be the case. It looks to me that it's mearly keeping tight controls on the budget. This would most likely be done to help the P&L statement to keep someone like that 9.5 million dollar investor happy. Jusy my uninformed oppinion, of course. ;D
