Topic: Encounters Problem

 Ok im on my 3rd copy now of encounters tonight $14.88 at walmart none of them will load keep getting disk read error im on an old ps2 runs every game i have just fine i have tried cleaning it still a no go walmart told me this evening they will give me another game title for my unreal troubles and they were going to contact the vender, they couldnt even get the game to load on the floor model ps2 anyone else having  problems ? im bout to turn it into a coaster.

i had the same problem my self and so did alot of other people cuz of the blue back disk they came with.I have an older ps2 and i went out and bought a used ps2 slimline for 60$ at a eb games.Traded in like 8 used games. ;DU can try that route

  yep ur correct its the blue disk thing i took the cd to best buy the got it to load on their floor model slimlines so folks if yeh have the 1st gen of ps2 dont get Encounters unless u plan on the new slimline as well, the guy at bb rolled his eyes when he saw the disk said gamemakers were supposed to stop with the blue disks dunno for sure my self as i have been a pc player. once again anothjer trek headache,btw long time GodFather  ☼§☼
