HAPPY 231st Bday US Navy
« on: October 13, 2006, 02:07:11 pm »
Happy B-Day US Navy!
I just attended a small ceremony today and for what it was in FT. Mead, it wasn't bad. The Honoring POWs Past and present was a really nice touch.  Never forget those who still may be fightingthe fight.

I'd like to thanks those who served before me, those who are still present and those who gave thier ultimate sacrafice in defending the system and lifestyle we enjoy today.

I'd say let's flip for who gets to honor the navy, but by now you have more chevrons than I.  :)

Overall I have to say it was an honor to serve and something I'd do again.

There are more things in heaven and earth, and in the sky, than perhaps can be dreamt of. And somewhere in between heaven, the sky, the earth, lies the Twilight Zone."
