(for a larger version click here... http://www.podcasts.startrek-gamers.com/images/QSI_STTeamPhoto_LG_wLabels.jpg

Part 1 - 00:00:00 to 00:32:18

Talking about the basics aspects of the game including an Argus Array exclusive sound clip from the game (featuring William Shatner in the voice over).  We later talk about the aspects that QuickSilver wanted to take on the Tactical Assault games and the workings of Tactical Assault and the move to the handheld consoles.

Rantz later goes on to talk about Quicksilvers "check list" which made sure that Tactical Assault fitted within specified expectations of Star Trek (the "canonical" aspects of Tactical Assault).  We later go on to talking about other projects that Quicksilver was working on and the run up to the announcement of Tactical Assault and the gradual shrinking of the PC Games market and expansion of the console markets and quicksilvers decision to take Tactical Assault to the handheld's.

....and of course there is the usual "lets pick on the scottish accent" part at the end, and one of WildCard's "small simple questions" which messed up the 30 minute timing of each section...LOL :)

Part 2 - 00:39:20 to 00:56:50

We start off with the varying apsects of the Nintendo DS and the Sony PSP versions of the game to do with controling the game with the 2 different handhelds, Rantz touches on ship control and weapons control in the game as well. We then move on to the big question...the cloaking system inside Tactical Assault.

Later we move onto the warping system in the game and the size of the actual systems ingame.  We also talk about the weapons of the different ship types and the all important upgrade and points system which allows upgrading of the ships and crew.

At the end we talk about the surprising graphical effects that the handhelds will be able to show for Tactical Assault (nacelles blowing off...etc...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee).  We later move on to repairing your ship if it is damaged and the repair system in game.  Rantz then goes on to give fans of Quicksilver some new news coming from the company.
