Starwars original and re edition
« on: September 19, 2006, 03:34:39 pm »
i received the 3 original version of starwars in good old VHS tapes, and i got the re editions of it also, i check a bit of starwars episode 4 and discover that the re edition captions is more complet that the original, some movies caption should be read from the script, not the word in the movies, sometime i just wonder why so many bad caption in movies?, its like do you just listen to what the says and make a resume of it or its because you did not understand what the says?, the caption should be taken from the scipt of the movies and you will have a good caption and synchronise it when the speak, anyway i was wondering if anyone can do a splitscreen of all 3 original starwars for me?, a splitscreen is you have on the same screen both original and re editions of the starwars, the original on top and the re edition on the bottom of the screen, a professional will cost a lot and i don't have a lot of $$$$, so if anyone can do it just say it and we can make arrangement for that.

I'm so sick of Star Wars now, Lucas is a greedy bastard who will not leave well enough alone. How many Star Wars games are there now? How many different "versions" of the movies are there now?

The best game of the S.W. series was the original X-wing, IMHO. Somethings are better left alone.

Knights of the Old Republic was awesome, but part of me (probably the part that almost wants to see 'Flyboys') wants to agree with you.
"Dialogue from a play, Hamlet to Horatio: 'There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy.' Dialogue from a play written long before men took to the sky. There are more things in heaven and earth, and in the sky, than perhaps can be dreamt of. And somewhere in between heaven, the sky, the earth, lies the Twilight Zone."

The only game I played Star Wars wise was Star Wars Galaxies. It was never quite right. I have to say though, he is milking it now. Have you seen the toys that the kids get now? Shockingly bad quality. Half the dolls look like mashups. Not that I'm into them!!!  :D

I despised SW galaxies, I gave it to a forum member. Erik Bethke might have run a bankrupt company (Taldren) but had SW X-wing been revised and a server campaign, it might have been awesome. IMHO.

Origin released the game code for Privateer and I must say I had a blast from the past, even though it was FREE!
