H-CHC is my first choice post 2275, unless I am flying metal, or escorting metal which needs something else.

Actually flying metal would be your first choice, escorting someone flying metal in the cheesiest most OTT ship alowed
would be your second.
Whining that Hydran ships don't have a big "launch fighters and instantly destroy all enemy ships" button would be your third.

Many Coalition pilots flew line ships, myself included. Not 100% of the time granted, but, with the Fleeting rules we were constantly rotating pilots around in different ships. Almost every combo included at least one line ship.
They will always have a use in a campaign, just as will specialty ships and Capitol ships.

As a Lyran pilot the first week, the Fast cruiser.  As a Klingon pilot the second week, the Fast cruiser.  As a mixed pilot the 3rd week, whatever was needed, but mostly metal. 

It was the first server ever I used mainly Fast Cruisers.  I do beleive they should be in capital shiplists.  A line cruiser, used a couple, but only as necessary to wing heavy metal.

I'm not sure if it's a line ship, but, when I could afford it, I flew a Mirak CCH.

We've got 19 respondents and so far it's pretty much 50/50 split.  Surprising results so far.

I flew some line ships early in the server,but that was mostly because they were the best ship pre 2268.   After that, I spent most my time flying a BF until the good command variants like the MCC and CDD came out.   Only flew the CMF fast cruiser for a little while.   Once PFs came out, I jumped into my favorite heavy cheesy PF tender, the BCS, and flew the PF leader pack some too. (BPV 160, you got to be joking Dizzy, way over valued and easily killed)

Out of all the ships, I probably flew the Gorn MCC the most.

My favorite Gorn line ship, the CCH, just doesn't have enough power to keep up with the run and gun PvP matches.

Yeah, b/c even though I like the LM and MHK.... I usually get told to fly something that is better suited to escort a Capital ship....

I think I'd give someone some karma for going back over the sgo6 kill list and tallying up how many kills were made in line ships... I bet the result will be telling.

there's sooo many CF/BF/NCF kills it isnt funny.
It looks like over half the kills were in some sort of these ships.

*Keeping in mind I took about 40 seconds to do it

give or take about 19 fights after 2268 had line ships make up the whole of the victors side
And the vast majority of those were ISC (CCY/CAY/CLY)
Take out the ISC you'd probably have about 7 fights that had the victos side composed entirely of line ships
(counting CCH/CWLs as line)

Ya, sgo7 will have fleet rule whereby one ship in a 3 ship fleet will be a line ship and fast cruisers will be counted as capital ships for fleeting. No more stupid fights, lol. This way we might see some line fights. I dont want to take the fun out of flying cheese, u can, just not in fleets.
