Gorn BDD (TMP refit)
« on: September 04, 2006, 04:57:24 am »
I wasn't going to release this until I had the standard destroyer completed as well. With my recent move though, I'm not too sure how much time I'm going to have in the near future to do any modeling. Eventually I'll get it done (along with the rest of the gorns that I have}, but in the meantime I'll be releasing the models that I've already completed adhoc.

This one is all mine. Mesh, textures, etc... Someone asked on the CM/HDD what the registry translated to. To be honest, I don't remember. I'll try and find it. This one is the "GCS Galaga"

I so dig that shuttle bay. Gorns have the most numerous shuttle launch rate of any race. They need lotsa shuttle bays!

I thought I saw a Sonic sign... eh, my imagination...  ;)

Sonic? No. That's a 7-11 parking lot. Complete with the drive-up telephones on the sides and the ATM machines in the middle.  ;)

Actually, instead of a "balcony and track" it's a "balcony and elevator" system. The shuttle area is one of my favorite parts of the design as well.

Thanks, guys.

;D Well done Rod. I think these are going to see a lot of use especially once folks see the CGI enhanced TOS episodes and will want a TOS/SFB game experience.

I can't wait to see the CGI enhanced TOS episodes of The Doomsday Machine, The Ultimate Computer and Arena (crosses finger to see a glimpse of a TOS style Gorn Cruiser)...

Hey Rod,

That was me that asked about the translation - i love all my ST ttf fonts  ;D  -- thanX for the translation...... I was mostly curious cuz on one server I ran I did some retexturing of some ships i used in the pirate slot and used vorlon cuz it looked nice.  I actually called the ship the Queen Margot (my wifes name)  -- like to have her involved in my gaming ;D

Awesome ships - i hope to use them next time i run a server!

Cheers
