I love these and I hope you finish them. I did a mod on the Hive a concpt where a PF carries a PF which carries a PF... You end up with a horde of enemy ships...

I released a shiplist with the mod that worked on GSA like 3 years ago or more. It's been called the hive, the swarm, certain death... A real race? I dunno.

The Swarm ship is a shuttle-sized vessel. Many Swarm ships may be linked together and, in a common effort, disable the power system of larger vessels. Swarm ships are equipped with transporters.

they look recycled too, fed logo's for nacelles, the centers look andromedan, just what you'd expect froma low budget production like TOS. Nice touch.

not got that far yet just basic ship design was never one for weapons i`ll leave that up too u if
you got any ideas

Yep i sure will also got idea for the starbase this morning when i was in work hope to start that off later today

What if the ships swarm on the target and then explode? Or send out piloted drones that do the same thing? It would be a unique weapon...a race of suicide warriors, much in the same manner that bees behave.

Yes, something like that. Suicide works well in ship combat, as it does in the insect world. If this race was insectoid, say, it could have that hive suicidal slant.
