I believe that Dr. Who here in America is due to start season 2 in November. I could be wrong though. Over in England though, I believe they are gearing up for season three, or just finishing season 2. I could be mistaken though.

Season 2 is done with in England.  No more who there until the Christmas special. :(  On the plus side, there's always watching more of this season.  I thought "Man, how are they going to top Eccleston?", but they sure found a way.  Not to take away from anything Eccleston did, he was brilliant, but Tennant is amazing in his ownway.  I hope he sticks around for a while.  Season two also has some great nostalgic moments, so do miss it.  Honestly, outside of Tom Baker, the last two guys have to be at the top of the list for Doctors, in my opinion.

You guys are in for a treat with season two.... granted there is one or two eps that are a bit weak, but overall, much more character development and better story arcs throughtout.

I also have to say that after a few eps with Tennant, you'll forget eccelston...

You shoud also try and dig up Tennant in the BBC's Casanova series... very good.
God said to the Welsh: 'I am going to give you this glorious land of lakes and mountains.' So where's the catch, asked the Welsh? 'Wait until you see the neighbours,' replied God.

'Kay, first off.

Doctor Who.  Not Dr. Who.  The Doctor didn't have a PhD last time I checked. (nerdIam)

Second.

The Satan Pit = win.  Straight out Doom 3 stuff.

How do you know he doesn't have a PhD?  Huh?  ;) Maybe he picked one up along the way. lol.  We don't know what happened between Paul Mcgann and Eccleston afterall (btw, I agree that you'll completely forget about Eccleston after you start watching Tennant.  I'm going to have to find Casanova and check it out, because he's great).

The Satan Pit was great, I agree.  It's so nice seeing the Doctor given some respect and higher production values.  I wonder why they call him "the" Doctor, and not just Doctor, as you would a name, rather than a title as in Dr.? ;)  He's got to at least have an honorary doctorate from somewhere in the all of time and space. :D

His doctorate was awarded during his time at Gallifrey university.  It's Steve (Stv. Doctor).

If you want to see the second season for Doctor Who now, you can always download it via bittorent from when it aired on the BBC.  I've been doing that since beginning of Season 1.

I was sorry to see Rose go.  The season finale was very sad to me.
