To heck with the smacktalk, Great Games thread
« on: August 23, 2006, 04:22:49 pm »
I've had 3 most excellent games in 2 days...those kind where you've got to wipe the sweat off pouring down your body afterwards...

The Big Iron battle:
KHH_Evil Kraven -- Z-NCF
KHH_ShadowLord_Z BBmf
Vs
Kroma in Rom SUK
LordKrueg B10K
Zaphod(Bartok) KDR

and later that night, another hour long fight:
Dfly-L-RM K-C10Kf
Krueg-RM K-D7WL
Jacobyi K-FDW
vs
Mrogue M-MCC+f
Reejr M-NCCf
Shadowlord M-NCFf

And then today:
762 M-BCXm
ShadowLord M-NCFf
vs
TT K-C7V
Kurok R-RHK
LK-KD7Wf

Irregardless of outcomes, all were just fantastic games.
It's the rush of games like that keeps me playing... ;D

That was a GG. A little tough for us as Duck had to go defensive fairly early. Basically it was 4 dizzies against 8.

A F-CF on our wing would have made that fight very interesting.

Or perhaps the AI Z-BCH that J'inned himself in the first 30 seconds.  ::)

Yep Yep Yep thats why we all still play this game -- we waste 20 min in restart times -- to get in an hour long game that provides memories..

PS LK you left one out from the first week,,

Hippo in a Fed CVA
KHH_ShadowLord  Z_BCF

vs

Dfly --  in a D5D
Lear in a rom FPH?
LK in his D7LL  special ship?

Another of the best o best battles

I'm really a newbie witht he DVERSE environment and didnt fly a lot of PvP.  But this thread deserves some posts as I see a lot of battles on the Kills page and hear them on Teamspeak that sound pretty good.

VesjoHa KCRS vs Me flying the Gorn HDD+.

No AI and space was fairly clean of obstacles.  VesjoHa and I were former KOG pilots ion the same fleet so I know him.  Was a good fight and deep enough in tactics to be worthy of a minor note here.  Things went back and forth until the final few turns when he cloacked and the nitty gritty of a Gorn vs ROM battle entered its final phase.   One mistake lead to a conclusion.

GG Bro!

Duck and I had a great game last night against Sears in his D5XD and some froggy AI. Sears pulled a great death drag move to make his racks come up just a hair before my phasers were ready...almost got me.  ;D

Only had two to add....a 1vs1 vs Shadowlord and a 2vs2 with Gunz as my wing vs Agave and Shadowlord...both great games!

It was a little closer than I expected. Sears' AI hit me in the ass with a double S-torp at a very inopportune moment.

Duck did a great job covering me while I was cursing and repairing. ;D

You can always DEPEND on Duck, othertimes a backup is recommended.
