what has happenned to honour......last server   a mission in which the sun was not in the mission screen was re done   the sun should not have been in that mission, and it's a sad day, when you need the sun to win that battle, which it did

Sorry TT -- I asked LK and Dfly if they wanted my film first thing this AM --

I was told no that your film showed the sun clearly.

Does that sum up the situation?

That being said if DH and Tool want to throw the battle report out the window that's cool with me. But you best take that up with them.

Did it look like this? I hope it was a happy sun, because for some reason I'm sad...

Well, I dont know the circumstances. All I know is with a mission with Dfly Risky and myself I'm pretty sure we flew into sun territory and were so damaged that the sun baked and killed all of us. I think tool was in that mission too. 5 of us died... 1 got away from the sun. Suns are sneaky. You have to always target lock them and keep an eye where they are. You arnt the 1st to get killed by one, but damn... your luck with asteroids and suns this server just make you an easy target. Dont worry TT, your reputation is safe. You are an aggressive PvP captain who isnt afraid to take risks. Players like that make kills, but also get killed. Just like me. Hey, I hit a rock this server. TWICE. And a sun. So we're even u and me. :P

It's just that when a sun or rock kills you it's funnier for some reason. Dunno why.

I'm confused.

Is TT actually pissed off here?

There is random terrain in some of these missions.

Always check your in-game map. Always be aware of your surroundings.

Its a game fer pete's sake people.

I feel like loggin in, self destructing repeatedly and flying around in a freighter losing mission after mission just to show people that I will still have fun... once I get down to zero PP and freighter working my way back up will be a challenge.

In fact I think I will.

I've been wracking my brain over SNMP,WMI and MRTG all afternoon and my last brain cell is about to pop... I think its time to play, what to do with the hundreds of browser tabs I have open though? hmmm there's a firefox plugin that will remember them all, sort of like a VC workspace... must look into that sometime.

I kind of like the sun maps.  For the reasons mentioned above.

Been burned myself a couple of times.

Ya Dizzy, you and Tool I believe were in it.  My wings stopped due to unfortold damage from unknown sources.  You guys mowed us down like dead dandylions.  Then you asked why lol.  We had agreed that due to our own stupidity for not seeing it, it was fine to report it. (SG05).  Had similar happen today with a planet(but this time to my opponent).  Swallow twice, count to 5,000,000,000,000, then say good game and move on.

I did just that, and you know what? I had the most fun I've had on this server yet. It was a hoot. Playing the trucker role with CB style talk and all. Krueg captured my first freighter, snagged himself a shipment of hot green slave girls destined for earth. It was a fun mission Krueg, lots of silly jokes. <S> I ran a couple co-ops with Tekwarrior and he seemed to get a few good chuckles out of my antics. I never did meet up with Dfly as planned, Krueg drafted me on the way to the the target hex and I kept getting drafted so we never met up.  Fear the Space Truck Dfly! Your day will come!  ;D  I ran a solo mission and almost won it but for one little bugger of a Rom escort that cloaked and wouldn't come out. The one phaser 3 I had left could not break the cloak... after 40 minutes I went to bed and left the mission running, going for a longest mission record, expecting to find the Rom still cloaked in the morning, but the dang power went out overnight and I didn't get a screenshot of what was probably the longest D2 mission ever! Oh well... next time. DH and I discussed the idea of specialised freighter missions.

It was fun, I laughed. Dont take yourself seriously, take a page from the book of Chuut, I have never seen that fellow seriously unhappy about playing a game and role that he enjoys.  :notworthy:

P.S. Exellent job on the mosh pit Dizzy, no points for PvP kills and no disengagment rule there made it perfect for such chicanery.

It's oK Bonk, I know you were trying to get there and I was looking forward to it but even my own guys were cutting off the Trucker.  :)  They knew I most likely would lose when running out infront of a big truck with a Pinto.   :o :o
