A little bit of a nose job.  The added fighter bays got moved to the bottom of the hull.  Hull has been reworked a bit as have the plasma tubes.  Deciding on how to map the sphere has held this one up for a couple months but I think I have something I can be happy with and can continue on and finish it finally.

Yes that is a noticable improvement Anduril, did you rework the textures as well?

Why yes.

How kind of you to ask!

The textures are a new build based on the TOS era Romulan Bop I did last fall.  And put together with the Sparrowhawk I redid using the same scheme gives a start on a semi unified TOS romulan ship group with a little SFB flavor.

ROFLMAO Ever see a Fed *try* to outrun an R-torp while overloading photons?
It's a beautifull sight, as long as that type R isn't in your rearview mirror!

Toying with the idea of putting a variant of what ADB says should be the bird emblem on the top of the hull and leaving the traditional bird on the bottom.

Beautiful job Anduril.  Reminds me of some imaginative SFB-ship battles I had in my mind.

It's shaping up really nice. I've wished for some retextures of the FD13 TOS ships for a while. No insult intended to the originals or the modelers. I just think everyone's gotten better over time and would like to see some new life breathed into them. TOS is still my favorite. Something cool about a battle with the originals

Very Nice Anduril
With work like this ADB would be paying you for illustrations of ship battles. its that good. Looking forward to downloading
her.

I would love to have the time to go back over most of the Ghost.fox-Anduril creations.  I kind of think of those days as our McCartney-Lennon days.  Simple models in mono (256x256) format.

I've got a few reworks laying around that need getting to and I will.  The Roms will definately get reworked with the SFB base intact but some added flair.

Playing around with the lower shuttle bay.  Basic stuff so far.

How about this then?

No reason why a Rom shouldn't have a registry.  Even if it is a subtle display of it's name.

King Condor......Imperialistic fed designation

I prefer Armageddon class Battleship and this ship goes by the name of Soulcrusher.

Of course it's good. Many times it's the subtle stuff that really does the trick. BTW, your sparrowhawk was an important contribution. It made it easy to repaint the FD13 Romulan meshes. Everything from the Starhawk to the Demonhawk. Thanks for what you do Anduril.

Awesome looking Rom.

But where can I get that Enterprise Pre-TOS Rom in your sig?

Starhawk to Demonhawk, fond memories.

I plan on hittin all of them again.  I still have a couple meshes for the omega hawk and the other multi-engined beastie laying around somewhere.

That Rommie from Enterprise in my sig will get released fairly soon.  There are a few things in the works for the Galactic Fringe that need to be finished first.

If anyone still plays the single player mission, Surprise Reversed 2, having an assembled fleet (7 ships!) of TOS Romulans or Klingons is an impressive sight!  The mission includes either a BB or DN, a BC, a CA, a couple of CL's, and a couple of FF's for the invader (three ships, CA, DD to DWC, CL) to shoot.  Woe onto you if a couple of the big boys wake up unexpectedly!  Given the TOS models we can all get, I think the Klingon and Romulan fleets look most impressive (and Anduril's rework is going to make it that much better)... I love Starfleet, but I'm just so used to looking at them that despite the truly beautiful and meticulous Federation models everyone has turned out, these other two empires' ships are really eye-pleasing.  Gorn is almost there, but there isn't enough variety; and this is just way too true for the Hydrans and Lyrans.

After having said that and declaring once again that I'm an incorrigible TOS fan, the TMP Klingons
REALLY    look good... or was that TNG?   Ah, TOS!
