N/CA, N/CL, HDW's are worth 1.  (.67 and 1 move cost)
Smaller class types with 8 ftrs or 3+ PF's are worth 1.
Ships with a move cost of .5 or less are exempt unless they are involved in a fleet action with a wing

OK, just to confirm this...
A CL+ is worth 1 VP...right?
and if a DD+ were to be with a (live) CL+ it also would be worth 1 VP...correct?

Just making sure I understand the wording of this part of the rule.

***Mid Server Rule Change***

Since this rule isnt posted in the rules, it constitutes a mid server rule change... hehe. Rule goes like this, should a rule adversely affect both sides and the 2 leaders agree to change it and bring it to my attention and I agree a rule will be changed. Course it may be necessary for me to act unilaterally.

within the shiplists above you have the letters after the ships to classify them.  I copy here a couple that I have not found classification for yet:

L-STL   DREADNOUGHT   A
L-STLF   DREADNOUGHT   A

The A stands for what?

What you don't know what the "A" means even though you see it all the time in various supermarlets?

It mean "Grade A" Cheese.

Foreign OR domestic.

Actually, no. I'm quite happy with the rules, they are about the same as last server, most kinks are ironed out, but sh*t happens. I think we are good. I hate rules, btw... Did you know that? Where are the 4 rules of Mog? Where is that post? Mb we can have a Mog day on this server...

***Mid server rule change***

When in a bugged mission whether you get a host left or some other unforseen bug, rather than Alt+F4, which Bonk has told us (NOT TO DO ANYMORE), we will instead:

-  The attacker flies off.   By "Attacker"  meaning whomever's space it isn't at the time the misison starts.   If the hex is Coalition, the Alliance (who are attackers in this case) will have to fly off and vice versa.

-  If Neutral, whatever team drafts flies off.

In these situations, any disengagement penalty is voided.

These ones?

Rule 1: Don't cheat.
Rule 2: Don't be a jerk
Rule 3: Don't exploit.
Rule 4: Have fun.

What more do you need?

To Bonk, Dizzy, et al,

The OCI features for the SGO6 game are outstanding.  I don't know if the freedom it gives (i.e. pp transfer, race jumping, etc) are good or bad, but my general feeling is anything that adds to the flexibility of the game is good.

Extremely well done, very professional, and a credit to the dev team's skill and vision.

Now if we can just get a bit more stability from the sql server and have a more reliable connection to comcast from d.net everything would be rosy. But its getting better. My thanks to all who are persevering in spite of occasional server burps and isolated issues. We are focosing in on making it work well. Let's not quit.

Sorry to see the OCI feature had to depart (it was friggin great), but I do understand new tech takes a bit.

Haven't been able to play much because of the job (lots of travel), but SGO6 is the best I've seen in a long time.  Great work.  Apologize to the alliance, but duty calls and all that.  Hope to be back on next Wednesday.

This agrees perfectly with my philosophy (and limited memory) as well. This is pretty much what applies on The Forge.

yes but on the Forge you can have a dozen guys running around in BBs(if you can find that many on at a time).  ::)

That's up to the players, personally I find BB fests colossally boring, however some feel they must fly a BB if it is available, perhaps they are compensating for something... ;)

I'll show up with a cheese fleet of light cruisers one of these days and wipe 'em all out to show them how its done...  ;D
