Yep,its true ever Since Sfc1,ive Been a Fed,and did ok,but now Im trying out the Roms,Ive trying the Sfc2 Campaign,and now ive Come across a Problem,Im getting Killed,now this hurts my Pride as a Captain,I think Im using the Wrong Tatics,I dont think I can fly Fed tatics as a Rom,so I call on The Rom Captains Out there.

Im Playing Rom in Sfc3 Im taking the Crash Course. on Being a Rom

Ps , Plasma is hard to fight with.

Quite frankly, I don't know why everyone is defecting to us (mostly Kzins, but a Fed is welcome)

It's interesting to see our local uber conservative

don the uniform of a Romulan commander. Hope those elven-like ears work out for ye. I've heard stories about Rom officers having trouble sleeping at night because of their acute sense of hearing....and being spotted by the occasional Fed patrol ship every so often.

Bear in mind the weapon tables posted by Dave Farrell when unleashing your plasmas. Remember, these aren't Hydran Hellbores; careful timing at mid-range is your best chance. Spray and pray is sometimes all you can do, however.

Now, if only I can get a fast internet connection, I'd be more than willing to smear your Rommie remains on the nearest asteroid on any given D3 server, as a Fed of course.

I've been flying Rom too after installing the beta patch. So easy to kill things now, heh, we replaced the Blue Plague as the easiest race to fly.

I just cloak, laugh as my human opponents fumble around with their worthless anti-cloak detection systems. Hell, I was sitting on TOP of the guy and he still couldn't find me. The guy was screaming, "Level 5 computer sucks, OMG, BS!"
Then I just move out, uncloak, launch one single volley at the guy and launch as the volley rips through his shields, armor and half of his hull.

If the guy is crazy enough to still around, rinse and repeat. All I gotta do is watch out for the occassional probe, even then they don't always find me since they can't even hear me when I warp, guess where I am and launch a probe.

God, Rommies are the easiest race to fly now. If a n00b like me is already having such an easy time taking out human and AI, there's no competition when a real good player is flying a Rommie ship! Hurray for one shot crippling blows, thank you Taldren!

I've tried being a romulan before too, with little success. I don't think this Klingon will be defecting to the romulan star empire any time soon. I wouldn't mind the romulan ale though.

The only advice I have for you is to use your cloak wisely and fire your plasmas at close range with power added to plasmas when you fire them for more damage. Qa'Pla!

I fly romulan.

There are some good tactics written by some of the most experienced rom players at battleclinic.com .

I AM KLINGON, except for around the 40K to 55K I fly Rommie more, they fit a little better in that slot, mostly because of how challenged the K'Tinga is.
