Hey all, just got back from Field Training in wonderful sunny Tyndall AFB, Florida.

Just thought I'd drop in and say hello!

How is everyone?

I'm out at vadenberg afb for OPS 3rd Lt.  you all rotc guys do field training your junior year right?   btw you should try for brevet lt next summer, though i understand the competition on the rotc sides is a bit high.

Hey Rob, you get a chance, tour the PMEL there at Vandy...they do some of the fiber optics for Space command, and it gives a perspective of how test equipment ties in with a lot of stuff.

Between Sophomore and Junior year, that summer is when we typically do Field Training.  There are some exceptions for those who have demanding schedules, or get hurt, etc, and it can be delayed till the summer between Junior - Senior year.  Not often, but not uncommon either.
