Terran Empire Resurrection Pack
« on: July 08, 2006, 08:30:10 pm »
Several months ago Centurus and myself had begun building up a fleet of Imperial Resurrection Class Warships.  But I've been so busy that I never got around to uploading them at the Battleclinic.  But now that I have the spare time I decided to go ahead and do so.  The Fleet is made up of...

ISS Resurrection NCC - 1796
ISS Revenge NCC - 1797
ISS Victorious NCC - 1798
ISS Indomitable NCC - 1799

Now I'm going to add the Fleet pack to Battleclinic, but would you guys want the ships uploaded individually as well so you can just choose which name you want?  Or should I just leave them all together?

Individual Please.

Also, please email me at skyflyer@sbcglobal.net

I may wish to use these models in a mod.... assuming they are for SFC2.

I added the Fleet Pack to the Battleclinic.  I probably will add them seperatly also.  I know of at least one person who wants them seperate ^.

Doesmn't matter do what is easier for you.

Add blanks and most of us can do our own registries, which to me is easier
People always said they wanted the government to listen to them and now the government is listening, taking notes and names...and coming to see you soon!

I'll see about getting the blanks ready for upload.  Give me some time on it.

Skyflyer, the ships are a Terran Empire version of my U.S.S. Resurrection, Mark 6 Constitution Refit, early 25th Century.  Currently, they're only for SFC3, but all that's needed is just to redo the hardpoints on the model itself.  If an experienced SFC2 modeler is willing to do the HP conversions, just let me know in an e-mail.

Since the pack is being released, I might as well do some quick renders.  Hmmm......

Again, give me some time for this.

I uploaded the ships separately now.  You can now download the pack or them by themselves.  Centurus would you be able to create some new registry textures for a Sovereign class ship?  I have some plans for a fleet of Imperial Sovereigns.  ;D

Doing registries is relatively easy.  Never done any for Sovereigns though, but I'm game.  I need the blank textures though, as in, no existing registries.  What ship you planning on using?

I plan on using the CG Sovereign USS Enterprise http://www.battleclinic.com/docks/dock.php?id=3494 She comes with a set of her own blank textures to use.  I was thinking about just using the High Res textures because it would be easier that way I think.

I'm currently involved in the Unity mini-campaign, but after the camp is over, I'll take a stab at making the registries for you.  Don't know how they'll come out though to be honest, but I can give it a try.

Prepare a list of shipnames and corresponding registries.

How about...

ISS Enterprise NCC - 1701-B (if we assume the Enterprise-A was the last before Terran Empire fell)
ISS Ascendant NCC - 1800
ISS Monarch NCC - 1801
ISS Empress NCC - 1802
ISS Imperious - NCC 1803
ISS Paramount - NCC 1804

These are just names that I'm throwing out there, none have to be made.  I'm trying to think of some really powerful names but that's hard lol.  The Registry sounds fair enough though, just to continue where the Resurrection Class left off from.

Low registry numbers for a Sovereign Class, but if you want them on there, I'm game.

It does seem low but really only for our ships.  If the Empire is reborn they're not going to have 70000+ numbers of ships.  They would start over.  Or at least that's what I think they would do.

This is very true, and it is a reasonable assumption.  Ships of the Constitution Class would probably be brought back to life and given the exact same registries as their predecessors, that is if these ships are completely new builds from the ground up.

Sounds logical.
