Chris,
I had to explain this to my wife a couple years ago:
1. Does building models make me any money?
2. Does doing home improvement work make us any money?
3. Does my paintings and pencils make us any money?
No, my job makes me money. The rest is what I do on my own time, my hobbies, my way of passing off the time on this mortal coil without feeling like I'm just standing by the line of people waiting to get on the ride at the amusement park.
While she didn't totally understand, she understood enough. When you start to get pressured to take something you love to do and turn it into a money making thing, it usually looses it's glamour - because now it's work, not play.
Take your time, Bro, and we'll be here when you get back.
Regards,
Frey
