For WZ45...
« on: June 16, 2006, 02:21:25 pm »
I just downloaded your Carolina class FBB.  While I must admit she's a BEAST!!!!

The work in great.

I will admit though as a former military member with roots in the Naval community.  The name Arizona does strike a chord.  Do you have any other name or registry?  Perhaps the vessel's class deignation?
Or if anyone here could give me pointers on how to change name and NCC?  I got the blanks.

I'll say it again though,  she's a big SEXY BEAST!!!
Reminds me of this chubby girl from University of Louisville that had a vibrating tongue post that...never mind

If you have the blanks, then you need the federation Extend Bold font and a a program you can add text to the texture.

PhotoShop
PaintShop Pro
Most software that comes with a scanner
Power point

any of these it can be done in
People always said they wanted the government to listen to them and now the government is listening, taking notes and names...and coming to see you soon!

Remember the axiom of big government bureaucrats: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. When, finally, under the crushing weight of taxes and regulation, it stops moving, subsidize it.

Don't think the name of Arizona should strike a chord with anyone, no disrespect intended.  I believe WZ chose to name to honor the U.S. Naval ship, but I can't speak for him.

But, not everyone reacts the same way to everything, and I'm sure you have your reasons for feeling the way you do, which I know doesn't suggest any disrespect intended, just makes you feel a bit uneasy, which is perfectly fine.

Just my two cents, and it may not seem very coherent because my mind isn't working right these days.

But, as for the programs needed, GAFY? was right.  The best programs for doing registries are Paintshop Pro and Photoshop, but for Photoshop, I don't recommend anything lower than version 7, but if you can, get a copy of CS or CS2, as they can type along a path, just like Paintshop Pro.

I dowloaded a trial sampler of PaintShop Pro9 from some company called JASC.  Never dealt with them and though it is a decent program for touching up I have very little experience or talent with such programs.

When getting familiar with an image editing program, it takes a while at first.  You can ask people here for tips and tutorials.

The TMP use the same font as TNG.  Only difference is the colored border.  As for the TOS, there are several variants.  Do a search on the internet for Trek fonts.  You should fine all that you need.
