As a first posting.

Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notification

This link seems to be a permanent page that lists the patch scheduled for the following Tuesday.

Limited subset of information from that page for June 13th.

On 13 June 2006 Microsoft is planning to release:

Security Updates
•   Nine Microsoft Security Bulletins affecting Microsoft Windows. The highest Maximum Severity rating for these is Critical. These updates will be detectable using the Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer and the Enterprise Scan Tool. Some of these updates will require a restart.

It seems that these latest ATI drivers require the MS .net framework.  So, I opted to stay with the set of drivers one step behind from these.

You chose well.  In addition their damn catalyst control panel refuses to work on my machine now.

I installed the latest drivers but I only installed the display drivers and not the Catalyst Control Center by downloading the Part 1 of 3 Download under Low Speed (Dial-up) heading.  So far everything works fine.

Oh?

I thought the instructions said that the newest drivers themselves require the use of the .NET setup.

The drivers will work fine without the net garbage.  I believe it is the control panel that needs it.  Damn bloatware.  Thing is I loaded everything up and it doesn't work.  I then went back and removed the net crap and the control panel leaving the newest drivers.

Firefox 1.5.0.6 update released

Those who use the automatic update likely have it already.  Others may not have noticed it.

Grabbed .NET framework 3.0 yesterday, and meant to give you guys a heads up that It's out. I think the new Direct X runtime came out also this month.

I believe you are right, I just provided the list of fixes that Mozilla posted.  I'm not sure but I think it is the first one (MFSA 2007-27) that "caused" the vulnerability.
