as with all servers, the numbers balance swings back and forth.
When I first logged on earlier today, there was 5 Alliance and just me, it was a couple hrs before I got a single wing.

I fly now and then late night hours EST. Most times I see me and up to 3 wings, vs 1-3 allies, fairly balanced.

Can you have more then one account? I just logged onto the server for the first time -- figured I would try Gorn as I havent seen any Gorn online in other servers...

Saw 3 other Gorn players online --

If we can only have one account which side needs the extra pilot?

Hard to say which side needs players, the alliance took a bashing while econ war was on, but numbers could be even now. Mrogue is flying Klink so that you know. You can have multiple accounts if you have multiple email addresses. Since it is SQL, changinging upper/lowercase around doesn't work. You can go to the forge webpage and transfer between races as you may want to, when you want to.

Consider instead of having mutiple accounts (which you can have, but make sure they're all REAL email addys so you can use the WebShipyards)
using the transfer system. It's the very first server ever to use it and it works nice. No building up PP in several accounts, able to buy anything you want in any race...
And you KNOW you want to come fly with us again, Duck...

Just say the word and I'll add you to the Coalition forums for the Forge on sfc2.net.

Copied and pasted from the Coalition Forge forums for ya Dfly...*ahem*

Using the Transfer option you can change to any race as many times as you want. This process allows you to keep your ship, but resupply at other Allied points.
ie. While flying a Klingon droner, you transfer to ISC. You'll still have the droner, but now you'll have the ISC interface and can resupply at ISC planets and bases. You'll flip any hexes taken ISC (A great way to spread the resupply points around for your Allied Races. ) You can also now buy any ISC ship, and transfer back to Klingon...or to any other allied race.
MAKE SURE ANY PURCHASED SHIP COMES IN BEFORE TRANSFERRING AGAIN HOWEVER.
If you don't, it'll FUBAR your account, requiring Bonk to fix it, and he's announced he'll be absent for a bit.
To do a transfer, select that option, at the next screen use the drop down arrow to select the race you want to transfer to. Click that race. It should immediately reflect the new race.
This is the very first server ever to have this option, try it out.

Why thanks, I guess I should have posted here that I had found that exact posting lol. However I have run into a problem with the system.

I took my Lyran account, transferred to a Klingon account, bought a ship in game, and tried it on the webmap, both no problems. I ran down an enemy planet to neutral but now everytime I win a mission in that hex, it stays at 0 neutral. Is it impossible to flip hexes once you transferred?? I did not think it was. For everyone's info, both were Planetary Assault. I ran that exact same mission several times to bring down the hex, but it wont switch it back.

On another problematic note: I took a mandatory Patrol earlier today. There was only me in it. As soon as it launched, it claimed HOST LEFT, New host Dfly..... and then Closing session. Whole session lasted 6 seconds. I received 0 prestige, 0 bonus. the mission name was: Met_ED10PatrolEnemy .

I've done lot's of transfers, usually to specifically flip hexes a certain color, both planets and open hexes.
NEVER once had any issues with it...
So...I donno why you're having issues.
Perhaps it is instead a "bugged hex" as something similar has happened before for various reasons on other servers.
Just kinda guessing tho...

Just for fun I transferred back to Lyran, bought a Lyran ship, ran that same hex, and it flipped Lyran no problem. HMMM
