Hey Burt


Whats the final year were ending the campaign in? I think you might need to bump up the years a tad faster to cover the entire cycle unless your not planning on doing that -- time seems to change fairly slowly.

A problem in the shiplist availability in the Wyldefire list. 

All of a sudden there are only 7 ships in our list, confirmed by 3 people.  these 7 are all 110 bpv and lower. and they have not changed in  20 minutes.

Currently, it is progressing at 1 year per day.  I may bump this up a bit in phase 3, as the pirate cartels consolidate and begin to be able to deal with governments more openly.

I think you are the victim of bad dice rolls from the shipyards.   Looking at the serverside shiplist, there is no reason in year 9 that you should not be recieving a wide variety of ships.

Keep a watch and let me know.

so far it looks like we are not getting our selections still.  We used to have a good variety come up all the time, till Saturday around 11 pm.  Now we get from 7 to 12, and so far I have only seen a couple ships bigger than 110.  We used to have 5 or 6 bigger ones all the time.  I will post more if it continues.  I really dont know why this is such.

2 things,

1- shiplist seems back to normal for Wyldefire

2- with this Monday being a holiday in Canada, and next weekend it is the American one, will the 24 hour shutdowns happen on Tuesdays instead?  I think it may be more fair if that were the case, also because you had mentioned that you would probably extend the time by a day due to shutdowns.  Any thoughts?

another minor prob     the O CA+   when probed,doesn't show any drone racks,but at least 3 times,i'll be going in and it fires (i believe) at least 4 drones at me   slow speed drones.this also happenned to Warp in a mission vs an ai as well

This is a known issue from Taldren.

There are drone racks (I think 2xA 2xC) in the shiplist for the O-CA (and O-CA+), assigned to hardpoints not on the O-CA UI.  They function, but they don't show up on the UI when probed.

Be very wary of Orions (the rogue pirate kind, not the Orion Cartel versions...)

just curious.....if you fly one of these ships,do u as the pilot,get to see them???nice little surprise,as a pirate,to unload them on a unwary opponent

Problem with not having the hardpoint on the UI is that it's nearly impossible to "properly" use the HP.
Since it's not on the UI, you can't click on it to activate it.  The only way to access not-shown hardpoints is via "red alert", the "all weapons" button, or by "creating" a hotkey by manually deselecting all active HPs.

Even then, unless it's a single hidden hardpoint, you'll never see the HP data screen (like how much ammo you have, different weapon modes, etc. etc.)
