<Cough>..... <hack>......

I told Dave to fix the missions so that only Hexx faced that ship!

I made an X-CA with 32 phaser 4's, so I could test AI generation without taking so long to finish the missions, but I long ago took that out.  I may have accidentally, using shipedit, saved that ship to the wrong spot at some point.

I'll look for that in the shiplist and R it out so it won't appear anymore.  (And if you ever do see it, just run!)

By the way, this ship should now be gone.   If you see it again, let me know.

Maybe I'll bring it back as a "Flying Dutcman, Ghost of the High Seas"  ship.   If you can kill it, you get a bonus!  ;)

(No, not really)

Heya HB - the evil s.o.b. is still there.  There I was, quietly eatin brekky this morning while running a couple of missions, not really paying attention, ya ya ya, another O-CA to kill, do-de-do ...  When at about range 15 or so it wasted half my ship and I woke up REAL fast.  Didn't get off the map before it gave me a phaser enema I won't soon forget ;D

Speaking of problems, you forgot to make the removed cartels non-playable when you eliminated them.

Well I didn't actually forget, I did actually go back into the .mct file and remove them as an option.

But the server didn't seem to care!    Some files it reads on restart, and some it doesn't.   Apparently that one it doesn't.   The cartels must be recorded in the DB somewhere as playable.   I'll have to dig through the hexadecimal and find out where.  In the meantime, you've got a perfectly good account in your new cartel.  just don't create any accounts in the old cartels!

Oh believe me, I won't be making that mistake. I was just surprised to see that Tiger Heart was still available.

He's sleeping with the fishes again.  I had R'd him out of the server shiplist, but did not go back and do it to my safe copy of the master shiplist.  Thus, when I merged the cartels, I inadvertantly reactivated him.

The little blighter won't be coming back again.

What did the loss of that ship cost you?

Don't worry about the cost of the ship - I shoulda been paying more attention than that  ;) (kinda like running into a planet while you're sneaking in a bathroom break - just not the brightest captain-type move!)

What are the four currently active cartels? So new players will not login on one of the old ones...

BeastRaiders, Prime...

I can't seem to find the list.
