Feels weird to know that we all watched P81's career spring up right before our eyes over the past six years or so. Does anyone know if he did all the models in the game?

Hey guys, do you remember when Rick was on these forums for a short time about two/three years ago, showing a relatively flat NX-era ship from a game that "probably" wouldn't see development?

It's in Legacy. They've been thinking of this for quite a while.

And if you check out this video, you'll see that P81's Sovereign was at least used in the E3 demo, the third version that I've seen so far in the various promo shots and the official trailer. I wonder if this means that the art assets are still in flux at this point.

FYI guys, Lat time I talked to Rick/P81 about a week ago. He was the one that Got the Ball Rolling for this project. I highly doubt that it was an easy sell to get SOE on-board since the sad state Trek has been left in here as of lately. Most of the ships that you do see are Ricks, as we all know Rick did a ton of them back in the Day of SFC1 & 2. So he had a nice Library to pull from to get those guys to get a feal for what the look of the game was aiming for. Ods are most of what you see are stock models. New ones may or may not be in the works depending on how much resources SOE wants to throw at this project.

SOE is not involved, AA. Mad Doc Software is developing while Bethesda is publishing.
