Hannibal Class

Here is the Hannibal Class, mesh hangs around 470 for fast and intense gameplay. I put the ship at a length of 150 m. Feel free to change, add to , or kitbash this model.

Well, I thought about tweaking it, but then I found how well it played in my SFCs. I like to play at the fastest game speed. I would be lying if I said I haven't considered using a bunch of white cubes for ships. Anyway here is the file, you will need the original zip for the textures.

I like it.

I can easily see this being a police cruiser swarming in to protect a planet / spacedock!

Good job at keeping the poly count low.

Well that isn't any different. You have everything regrouped into 1 object even as a 3d. Still can do anything with it. Sorry IM

Hey Interseller, I was actually going to try to make this Class someday, but I'm very glad you made a low poly count model of it.  It will go great with the Beauros Aries Class ship too (I think that ship and the Hannibal Class Schematics came from the same site).  I was planning to make an Eagle Class ship too, but haven't got around to it yet.

Very nicely done!

P.S.  Just incase anybody is interested, I think the site that had this ships schematics indicated that this was a small Escort or Frigate vessel designed around the same time as the Bearous Aries Class.

Models Please, sorry it didn't work out, that is the way I built the model, made vertexes and then connected the dots, when you do that, it is all one group automatically. In milkshape though, you can separate faces from a group by selecting the faces you want in a different group and then using the "regroup" button under the "groups" tab.

Magnum357, yeah, I do remember seeing a Beauros Aries Class ship on that site too. It is really nice to have the 3 views to do a model, I had waited so long because I did not have the technique to do a decent texture for these ships untill recently. Unfortunately if you compare my model to the schematics, you will find I had to fudge a little bit because the three views do not match up totally correct.
